Hundreds march in downtown Humble in show of unity

On June 9, True Love Church, along with Strawbridge United Methodist Church and First Methodist Humble, organized a community Unity Walk. The purpose of the event, according to its lead organizer and True Love Church Pastor Eric Lacy, was to promote unity within the local community.

“I felt God’s calling to organize a Christian walk to promote unity in our community. We want to continue the discussion within our community,” said Lacy.

True Love Church of Humble seeks to spread love of Jesus, serving 200 meals per day

During these continued days of quarantine, several churches are offering online worship opportunities, outdoor car services, virtual small group Bible studies and grab-and-go meals. The True Love Church of Humble is giving back to the community through several means; one of these ways is through the Grab-and-Go lunch program for school-aged children.

Pastor Eric Lacy stated, “The beauty in life is found in giving and seeing lives turned around. We at True Love Christian Church of Humble serve in a way that enriches lives. This is done through several means, including this food program which feeds souls, our growing online community, child care center, and our after-school program.”
